We know training is key to a driver's success. To give drivers the tools they need, we're excited to announce the launch of a new Driver Training Program! This new program is a hands-on, interactive, classroom-based curriculum that aims to improve the driver onboarding experience and provide your drivers with the skills needed to be safe and effective while on the road.

What you need to know

1. What does the training schedule look like?

The new Driver Training Program will launch as a ten day program and will eventually be extended to twelve days:

  • Two days of in-class training

  • Two days of ride-a-longs (this only applies once your site is up and running with existing drivers – approximately four weeks post launch)

  • Eight days of independent training routes (4 at 65% capacity, then 4 at 85% capacity)

2. How often is the training program held?

The program will be available twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Each class will have a maximum capacity of 30 drivers.

3. Where is the training program held?

The program will take place in a designated training area at your local station. Ride-a-longs and training routes will be on-road and will leave from your local station.

4. Is this training program mandatory?

Yes. The program is mandatory and free for all of your incoming Drivers and will be made available once they have passed their background check, motor vehicle check and drug test. Once complete, notify your trainer on site to sign up your drivers for the training program. Your driver must complete two days of in-class training before they can begin ride-a-longs and training routes.
